The ‘Kabinet’ vineyard, aka Cabernet Sauvignon, was always considered the farm’s trump card, guaranteed to lift the quality of any wine. Nowadays these grapes are blended with grapes from other vineyards in the Bovlei to create a wine which is as rich and complex as the farm’s heritage. This wine is packed with ripe berry fruit with a solid tannin structure that makes for excellent ageing potential.
A picnic at Bosman Hermanus is a rare treat: a hamper filled with local, artisanal fare; a bottle of Bosman wine; a field of fynbos and an idyllic 360 degree view.
